We’re looking to rehome our 1‑year‑old female Australian Shepherd to a family who can give her the time, training, and activity level she deserves. She’s a very sweet girl with lots of energy—typical for the breed—and she knows basic commands like sit, stay (mostly), and come. She loves people and wants to please.
She does still jump up when excited, so she may need some guidance around small kids at first, but she’s very trainable and responds well to positive reinforcement. She has zero aggression, no biting history, and has grown up around another dog her whole life. Because of that bond, she may have a little separation anxiety at first but settles with routine and attention.
She’s up‑to‑date on rabies and will need her 1‑year vaccines in July. She is not spayed. She is AKC registered with limited breeding rights (the original owners checked the box preventing AKC registration of future litters).
She’ll go home with her kennel, collar, and whatever food we have left.
We love her, but we simply haven’t been able to give her the time and structure she needs to thrive. She will do best with someone who can give her consistent training, exercise, and affection.
