We just swapped out our water healer for a tankless unit. The water from the water heater comes out slightly brownish yellow, but it is only noticeable when you fill a tub with water. I have not noticed any problem when showering. This water heater still has a lot of life in it. It is several years old. It comes with everything you need to install it to your existing water and gas lines. I will include the exhaust vent, the expansion tank, the gas line, and straps to hold it to the wall. This would be great in the cabin or shop and or you may be able to clean it out so that it is just fine in your home.
