ZelleI am looking to rehome my 1 year 1 month old toy poodle boy (5 lbs.). Due to no fault of his own, I simply cannot provide for his needs at this time and want to make sure he is in an environment and with a family that gives him all of the love he deserves. He is fully potty trained and the sweetest boy in the whole world. All he wants is cuddles and attention. He has lived in settings with kids, dogs and cats (currently lives in a household with multiple cats). He loves going on walks and is friendly to every dog he meets. He is fully vaccinated (I do not currently have the records but can contact his breeder to provide them) and has not been neutered. I do not want him to be used for breeding purposes and only want him to go to a household as a companion. He does get very anxious to be left alone, so I think he would thrive in a family setting or with someone who has the ability to work from home. He gets very attached to his humans, so please give him lots of love. He is the first dog I have ever had and unfortunately, as much as I want to keep him, I don’t feel like I can provide him with the quality of life he deserves or the attention that he wants. I have shed many tears and have had many sleepless nights over feeling like I’m not doing enough for him. I work long hours, and leaving him home alone, even though there are other animals, just doesn’t seem fair. He is very tiny (5 lbs), so he does require someone to be there to let him out to use the bathroom every 4-6 hours or so (or alternatively, have access to a backyard). Forcing him to hold it in my tiny apartment simply isn’t the life I want for him and it would be selfish of me to make him do that. That said, I am going to be very selective with who he goes to in order to ensure he has the absolute best quality of life. He will come with the food he is currently eating as well as treats, toys, cleaning wipes, dental powder and more. Serious inquiries only, thank you!
