Winnie the Pooh Collectors Plate from the original pen-and-ink illustrations by. E.H. Shepard. Shepard worked closely with A. A. Milne,bringing the stories to life beginning with the 1926 book Winnie-thePooh. Interestingly, Pooh Bear was initially based his own son's stuffed toy, "Growler," after Christopher Robin's bear was deemed too grumpy-looking. These illustrations are considered legendary.

This Plate is titled "A Do-Nothing Sort of Day" featuring Christopher Robin on a swing with Winnie the Pooh hanging on, and piglet on Christopher‘s lap. Produced by the Bradford Exchange, this is the absolute cutest Winnie the Pooh plate on the market (IMHO). This plate captures the essence of a relaxing day in the Hundred Acre Wood. Plate is in perfect condition no chips, cracks, crazing, or defects. Does not have original box or certificates.
