Gunners Lenan Oak (“Charlie”) – 2014 AQHA Chestnut Gelding
“Charlie” is a solid project horse priced accordingly due to being behind on riding for his age. He has been handled his entire life and has more riding potential in the right hands.
He is generally good to catch, tie, saddle, bridle, bathe, trim, mask, sunscreen and haul. Charlie is partially deaf but responds well to a kiss, cluck, and woah. He is cowy, athletic, and has a huge stop. He is soft and is a smooth/fun mover.
Per owner, he has had a habit of bucking around when mounting; however, he has only shown this behavior with me twice after time off. I whooped him and we had a great ride. Though he can be a little flinchy from time to time with new people and long amount of time off. He is fairly quiet and willing when he knows you & gets consistency. I’ve enjoyed working with him and believe he will make a nice horse for someone experienced and handy who can continue his progress with riding. He goes over a tarp, logs, ground drives with full cart harness wonderful.
Charlie is a one owner. There’s no secrets to this horse. Come try him or message with further questions.
No trades.
