Murphy is a loving 7-year-old purebred Wirehaired Pointing Griffon male. Murphy spent 6 months at bird dog school in Colorado learning how to hunt upland birds. Although he hasn't been hunting in a long time, he still loves to point doves in the backyard.

Murphy is an inside dog and would not do well as a full-time outside dog. He loves to be around his people. He has a BIG bark and doesn't love strangers. However, he warms up quickly to new people, especially if you're willing to take him on a walk! Murphy enjoys children and has grown up with three of them. He's never been aggressive toward a child or other animals. He has a habit of gobbling up kids socks if they're left around the house.

Our lives have become so busy that this guy isn't getting the attention and affection he deserves. Although we're sad to see Murphy find a new home, we believe it's best for him.
