This old large churn belonged to my grandfather and I have fond memories of making ice cream as a family taking turns churning for special occasions. This churn has sat unused in my shed for 25 years. I think it's probably a hundred plus years old. My grandfather did epoxy the outside as to preserve the wood but the inside wax on the wood has been melted sitting in a hot shed and will need to be scraped off and possibly reapplied if you plan on using it. It will also need a bit of rust cleaned up but I think it could be cleaned up and or restored or just keep it as neat antique to look at. I did crank it and take it apart and the churn seems to be intact and usable. It is a lil big and somewhat heavy and due to some injuries as well as not having any children and trying to downsize.
