Bourbon Red Turkeys have a very dark, rich, chestnut color edged in black on many of the feathers. Their wing tips and the back one half of the tail are white making them a very attractive heritage variety.
These turkeys are farm friendly, great for backyard flocks, small farms or even exhibition projects. They are good foragers and they have flavorful meat.
