"There's no man in town as admired as you..." — Gaston may not be singing his own praises, but he certainly turns heads wherever he goes.
Gaston is a stunning long-haired German Shepherd currently seeking the right forever home through Trouble Off Your Hands K9 Training.
Imported from Poland and originally a papered dog from well-bred working lines, Gaston came to us through a large hoarding case in a neighboring state. He is the second dog our program has helped from this situation, with additional dogs expected to enter our program in the coming months.
Despite his impressive pedigree and appearance, Gaston's story has not been an easy one. Prior to entering our program, he had little to no socialization and was not even accustomed to having a name. Since arriving, he has been learning basic obedience, building confidence, and discovering what it means to be a loved companion.
Additional Information: • Male German Shepherd • Approximately 4–5 years old • Imported from Poland • Well-bred working-line background • Good with children • Good with other dogs and animals • Good with livestock • Looking for a calm, laid-back home • Would enjoy a family committed to continuing his progress and helping him experience life beyond survival
Gaston has made tremendous strides during his time with us and continues to show what a resilient and gentle dog he truly is. While he is still learning about the world, he has proven himself to be kind, willing, and eager to connect with people.
"No one fights like Gaston..." but these days he'd much rather spend his time relaxing with his family than seeking adventure.
Serious inquiries only. We are committed to finding the best possible placement for him.
Located in Utah He has completed a board and train with Trouble Off Your Hands K9 Training and gets life long support if interested in providing Gaston with the forever home he deserves.
Not seeing the German of your dream, we have 5 plus coming available in the next few weeks.
Reminder: We are not a rescue and we are not a nonprofit. Dogs in our program come with a lifetime of training support. Placement decisions are based on finding the best fit for both the dog and the adopter. Adoption fees may apply.
