Mother is black & white black with some iridescent green feathers. Father is pure white. Ducklings are typically black and white. Raised free range, by their mother. They love to eat all kinds of bugs and are very adept at catching them. Muscovy do not quack, they have a quiet rasp noise that they make so they will not bother neighbors. Both the Drake and Duck are devoted parents. The eggs are good for eating but excel for baking. If not gathered they will lay 2-3 clutches of approximately 18-20 eggs each clutch, per season.
