Yamaha Beech Custom drums.
These "Beech Custom" drums fall directly in Yamaha's top-tier, professional line of drums. They are part of Yamaha’s premium, flagship series, manufactured with high-end woods and Yamaha's phenomenally strong hardware. Sonically, beech wood drums sit in a sweet spot directly between maple and birch. It offers the warmth and roundness of maple with the sharp, punchy attack and projection of birch. In other words, these drums sound GOOD!
Eight drums, including:
1. 22" bass WBD822 NM-5947
2. 14" x 6" snare WSD0S5 ON-4817
3. 16" floor tom WTT816 ON-3408
4. 14" tom WTT814 NM-5467
5. 12" tom WTT812 NP-2459
6. 10" tom WTT810 NP-2394
7. 8" roto-tom
8. 6" roto-tom
Eight cymbals, mostly Sabains. Considered one of the "big three" cymbals alongside Zidjian and Paiste, Sabians are bright, punchy, and played by professionals world wide.
1. 22" ride. Produces a gorgeous, rich tone with a l-o-n-g decay.
2. 16" high-hat.
3. 16" high-hat.
4. Funner-than-ever 18" Chinese gong. (Has 6 1/2" fracture along outside perimeter. Been drill-stopped, and doing fine.)
5. 16" AAX stage crash.
6. 16" AAX metal crash.
7. 12" splash (cheapie little Wuhan, made in China). But splash it does!
8. 9 1/2" Zildjian Zil Bell (cow bell on steroids). Clear, crisp & loud!
