This is a set of 4 vintage hand woven placemats, brought back to the states from Samoa in the late '50's. They have no markings or identifiers, so I can't be sure what they are made of. These were never used, just placed in a trunk and stored away. As you can see in the photos, there are some dark spots, I'm not sure if they are just dirty or if they have some damage. Rather than try to clean them up and risk ruining them, I am just leaving them as is.
