Ebony is a really nice little mare. Stands 14.1 hands tall. Very accepting of new things. She’s a really nice little ride. Knows her leads and is really good off your legs and hands. She Has been used in the mountains as well as in the arena. She is very quick on her feet and could make a nice rodeo horse. Tons of pole bending potential. I’ve patterned her in barrels and poles. She’s coming along well and is gaining confidence. I don’t know how to rope or she would learn that too!

She’s good to shoe and bathe. No bad habits or major vices. She’s a confident little mare and not much bothers her. She goes in and out of water like a champ. She’s solid on her feet and has a really good mind.

She’s only 5. I have failed to give her the consistent time she deserves. She’s had several bouts of off time ranging from 4-8 weeks and has come back into work with minimal back steps! I’ve been impressed with her ability to retain training. I would say she’s best suited for a confident intermediate rider. Not because she’s got anything wrong with her, she doesn’t. She just needs more time and experience to compensate for a beginners lack of knowledge.
