I built this test stand to pre-run VW engines before I installed them into cars.

It works with any 12 volt flywheel as is or install a 6 volt starter for older engines.

It has a 914 starter on it now that does not require a support bearing.

The bell housing is from a type II bus transmission.

It has wheels so it is easy to move around or get out of the way.

I had planned to put switches, gauges and such on a panel on the vertical post. That is something you can add if you decide.
