2009 Kawasaki KLX 250S, I purchased the KLX when looking for an on /off road bike that was not too tall, the first owner had installed a lowering link which lowered the seat height by several inches, he had also installed an FMF exhaust system and K&N Air cleaner for improved power, after riding it a few more time I too wanted more power and found that B&B Cycle Restoration in Kansas offers a complete 351 big bore kit, after online research and a phone call to Bill Blue the owner, I placed an order for the kit along with an upgraded carburetor that had a built in accelerator pump for quicker throttle response. At the same time I had a valve job done on the head, installed a new memory foam seat from Seat Concepts and a larger fuel tank to extend the bikes range.
