VenmoAvailable for Purchase: Luker “Tiger” 1x12 combo amp!
The Luker Tiger Combo amp, 1x12, 20W of sweet 6V6 tone. Hand-built boutique amp from Ken Luker in Oregon, this amp gets rave reviews and is no longer available (the newer version is the “Chameleon,” which has a lot more bells and whistles). This has an effects loop, line out (with level), and a Jensen Jet Tornado Classic (neo) speaker (100W, @ 16 Ohms). Beautiful cleans, and warm grind when cranked. Great for whatever music you play!
Front panel has high and low inputs, volume, bass, mid, treble, presence, effects loop send and return, and Master volume! Midrange control can take you from sparkly to tweed.
Rear panel has power and standby switches (switchable between a tube [up] or solid state [down] rectifier), line out with adjustable send level (great for send to the mixer), and speaker outs for 4-8-16 ohm loads.
Overall 15" x 19" x 9.25", solid pine cabinet, and < 30 lbs so it's light and compact to grab for the gig. Included is a custom cover made - about $75.
This is a really great sounding Fender Deluxe but in a smaller, lighter package, with hand-wired quality, workmanship, and extra features. The front panel return and send let you patch in a reverb and tremolo if you want the full FDR feature set thing. I've owned (and still own) several Lukers, and they're one of my favorite amps!
See here for a 2015 offer by Luker for a similar Tiger (minus the effects loop, line out, and Master volume) for >$1250: https://reverb.com/item/519179-luker-tiger-2015-combo-20-watt-12-guitar-amplifier-built-to-order.
At $550 this is priced to sell - especially compared to other hand-made boutique tube amps! [I have a 1x10 without a Master volume, so this is the fancier model! Great stuff!]
Work in Layton, live in Ogden, and well worth the drive! Thanks for looking.
