Finn is an 8 year old Dun grade gelding, standing just under 16 hh. He is a kind hearted, puppy dog horse and is quick to please. He has a sensitive soul and is quick to love but can be pushy with personal space. He has about 70 rides on him. He has been all over the mountains, in water, and trailered to multiple arenas. I’ve ridden him in a snaffle at one local show, focusing on exposure. In that show, we participated in western pleasure, barrels, and poles. He never shied or spooked at a barrel or pole and was easy to be around the other horses. He is up to date on vaccines and dewormers and gets new shoes regularly. He stands well at the trailer and the hitching post and is quick to saddle. He is really great to pick up his front feet and lets you pick them out easily. He can be stubborn with his back feet though, and it takes patience to get them picked out. We usually have to give him paste to get shoes on his back feet. He also needs his teeth floated. I’m selling because I don’t have the time to get him going at the pace I want for him. He has GREAT potential and is the most lovable horse but I am not committed to giving him the consistent work he needs. He needs an advanced rider who is confident with a project horse. He is not a beginner friendly horse. Come ride him, you will fall in love! Not to mention he is a stunning horse and gets googly eyes everywhere we go.
