Pulling breed Belgians. Binky and Berry are an awesome pair. They’re very easy to catch in the field with a bucket of grain, easy to be around, clip, harness etc. They’re a quiet pair but they’re built like tanks. Right now they weigh around just over 1900 lbs each, they’re both off an Amish farm. We have used them to feed cows, pull the parade wagon up and down the road, they’re traffic safe, and I’ve used them on the fore-cart with the harrow. Binky’s original mate tragically passed away, and that’s why we got Berry to be his mate. Binky has been driven single, double, and in a 4 up, and ridden. Berry before we got him worked in the field on the plow and all types of farm equipment. This is a team that’s going to last for years and years to come. They’re not even fully filled out or mature. If you wanted to get into pulling competitions when they get older, I’m sure they’d do awesome. That was our original intention was to do that, but circumstances have changed and we don’t have the time to commit.
