Hi, I'm Cosmo!

I'm a 1.5-year-old girl looking for a fresh start after my family had to surrender me because of changes in their living situation. It wasn't because they didn't love me, they just couldn't keep me anymore.

I'm a very sweet dog with a lot of love to give, but I won't pretend I'm perfect. I'm still working on some important life skills and will need a family that's willing to help me continue learning.

I'm not crate-trained yet, and I'll need help with potty training. That means there may be accidents and there will definitely be a learning curve. But I'm still young, and with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, I know I can make progress.

The good news? I already have some wonderful qualities!

I've lived with older kids and did well with them. I'm also said to be friendly with other dogs at the dog park, so I enjoy having canine friends around. Most importantly, everyone describes me as a very sweet girl who just wants to be loved.

What I need isn't perfection.

I need someone willing to invest a little time in me.

Someone who understands that dogs sometimes come with unfinished chapters, and that helping them learn can be one of the most rewarding experiences there is.
