Meet Abby, an adorable female gerbil! Abby is estimated to be 1 1/2 years old and is very sweet. She is a very curious and engaged little girl. She is always poking her head around, standing on her legs with her little hands up in the air and her nose up, like a prairie dog, trying to figure out what is going on around her. She likes to eat out of your hand! She is also a very determined worker and hard at work building complex maze and tunnel systems through her burrowing! She may do well in a home with another single female gerbil to do slow introductions with the split cage method, but she could also be a solo girl. We had her with two other females, but she did not enjoy their company unfortunately. Gerbils living requirements include a 50 gallon minimum tank or bin. If you do not have an appropriate enclosure, we can provide one at cost.
