Dependable, well‑put‑together, strong ranch gelding – grade sorrel, 13–14 years old and 15.2h. Used his whole life on a working ranch before I bought him – sorting, gathering, and checking cattle. He has been roped on outside and is comfortable tracking and working cattle. Since I’ve owned him, my daughter has run barrels on him and she consistently places in the 3‑D; the last time she ran him on barrels was about seven months ago, and she has since moved on to another horse for reining. If you plan to use him for barrel racing, he will need a tune‑up on the pattern. About a year ago he was sore in his left shoulder after a chiropractic adjustment; under vet guidance we put him on a short course of Equioxx and he has been sound with no ongoing maintenance needed since. Several years ago we also had his hocks injected because he was getting a little stiff in the hind end, and he has been comfortable and working well since. One‑hand broke, will side pass to open and close gates, and covers country with a big motor that lasts all day. No buck, no crow hop, no bite, no nonsense – he shows up the same way every time you saddle him. Because he has a big motor, he is not ideal for a true beginner but is a good fit for a confident intermediate or handy rider who needs a solid using horse that can also go make a barrel run. I truly love this horse; the only reason he is for sale is because I’m trying to buy a reining horse so I can spend more time riding with my daughter. UTD on basic care, easy to catch, haul, and
