This guy is about 3 years old and his teething will prove it. Before reading any further you should know he is gelded but he seems to be oblivious to that fact, has even mounted and tried to breed our mini mare when she’s in heat (he could make a great one to tease mares)
Easy to catch, always comes right up to anyone, handles his feet and being trimmed well.
I would not put a small kid on him to ride solo, but to pony would be fine. He is broke to ride and my son has had him in the mountains, pasture, corral and through town. He does get cold backed so if you’re going to ride him you’ve got to be consistent or at least lunge him good before throwing anyone on. We haven’t had him in front of a cart but he could be taught pretty easily. Would make a great little pack pony, he looks like a mule from behind. And the best part is that because of his size, your hay bill will hardly even notice him!
