A beautiful pernambuco violin bow made by Fernando Valino in Salt Lake City. Valino made the bow at Peter Prier and Sons in Salt Lake City under the direction of their master luthiers and in the French style.

This bow is made from a very nice pernambuco stick with some nice character to it. The bow feels light in the hand and has excellent responsiveness. It bounces quite well when playing spiccato and sautillé. It tends to draw out a lively sound from violins.

I am the original owner and purchased it from Peter Prier and Sons in 2023. It went very well with a violin I have since sold.
