VenmoWe are starting the search for a home for our LGD in preparation for a cross country move. She is a 6yo Akbash. Spayed, healthy and UTD on vaccinations, and microchipped. The good: ️She is trustworthy with goats, people, kids AND poultry! ️She has a huge bark and partrols the property, we have not lost a single animal to predators since ahe came on duty ️Loves all people when they come on the property with us ️ If a gate gets left open she doesn’t take off ️Trained to a invisible perimeter fence ️Gets along with ‘most ‘ other dogs
The not so great: She is food aggressive towards other animals (not humans) and needs to be fed separately Will jump fences lower than 4.5’ without an E-Fence Will occasionally dig under a fence without E-Fence (but doesn’t run off) Does not get along with other Alpha female dogs. Her status with cats is unknown, as we dont have any, but I would expect her to accept them with proper introduction. We are looking for the perfect place for her, preferably with someone that has LGD experience. Located in Salt lake, but willing to help with transportation for the right situation.
