This is Diglett. Diglett is a 3 year old Northern Blue Tongue Skink. He is a large dude. I say "he", but "he" hasn't actually been sexed, so I cannot guarantee that it is a male. But I say "he" anyway lol. He comes with his 4x2x2 enclosure and all supplies, including lighting/heating. He is healthy and has a good appetite. He eats mostly wet dog food and mustard greens or turnip greens. He also likes bok choy and pretty much any insect. His favorite are hornworms, which I give occasionally as a treat. He is not the biggest fan of collard greens. The only issue he has physically is that he was born with a small indent on his left side of his lip. It doesn't cause any major issues for him, but sometimes substrate or food will get kinda stuck there, or he'll struggle to shed that part and you may have to help him with a wet Q tip (he is happy to let you do this). Diglett is a sweetie, HOWEVER, he can be pretty cage defensive. It can be difficult to get him out of his enclosure because of this. But, once he is out and being handled, he is very sweet and curious. He loves to sit on your shoulder. He has never pooped on me when being handled either, so that is a plus. Because of his cage defensiveness, he needs to go to an experienced owner. I will not sell him to be a child's pet, just due to the fact that he could hurt someone who doesn't know how to get him out properly, and skink bites can cause some damage. I am in no rush to sell, as I love him dearly. Despite his cage defensiveness, he really is a very good sweet boy. He loves to just hang out and chill. He'll even fall asleep on me sometimes. The reason I am selling is because it is getting more and more difficult for me to keep up with his care and maintenance. Life is getting busier and busier, and I don't have as much time on my hands as I used to. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Pickup in Vineyard. No trades. Venmo would be preferred.
