VenmoI have a beautiful, healthy future breeding pair of dual-purpose Delaware chicks.
These birds were sourced directly from Maryland, meaning they are completely unrelated to standard local Utah lines. These two have been living outside for 3 weeks in a grow out pen and have been doing great! The hard part is over and they are ready to move in to your coop. They are 7 weeks old as of June 29th.
Delawares are famous for being friendly, excellent layers. They lay a prolific 200-280 jumbo-sized brown eggs per year and are quick-maturing, with pullets starting to lay anywhere from 4-5 months old. They are also the original meat birds and males can be processed as early as 14 weeks old. They are the perfect homesteading breed!
