We recently bought Maple to be a companion animal for our daughter, but our nonverbal autistic son is too rough with her and we don't want her to get hurt. So we are looking to rehome her ASAP. We've only had her for a little over a month, she's super sweet, playful, and affectionate. We take her out to the sand dunes to play every day and she just loves a good romp with kids. She's not fully house trained yet, but is making some progress that direction. We bought her for $450 but are only asking $50 (We are fine eating the cost because we just want to find her a good home). She's had her first round of shots and is ready for her next round, has not been spayed yet. She does seem to need a lot of mental stimulation and wants to be a working dog. But she'd probably do well in a fenced-in backyard with an attentive family. We recently built our home and still haven't finished our yard so we just really don't have the set up she needs.
