Vietnamese Hmongs are a rare, dual-purpose, ancient landrace breed built for hardiness, resilience, adaptability, and are a great free-range breed as they are amazing foragers. They originated in the mountainous regions of Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand and are highly prized for their meat’s rich flavor and hens being fantastic mothers. The hens can lay up to 150 small-medium eggs per year that range from peach-tan in color. Their plumage can come in a variety of stunning colors, but we are focused on silver. With their beautiful silver against their fibromelanistic skin they really are an eye catcher for any flock. They are known to be friendly and calm with the roosters being highly protective of their flocks.
