VenmoThe style of this knife is reminiscent of the Sheffield style knives brought into the United States in the 1850's from England. It's slimmer than the bulkier early Bowies. This knife has much better construction than those knives - this one is stainless steel.
This knife is 15 inches overall with an actual cutting edge on the blade of 9 inches. The blade is 1 1/2 inches wide and 3/16th of an inch thick. It has a full tang and a fighting style guard. The handle is made of a hand-painted (by me) pinecone encased in epoxy resin to give it it's brilliant and beautiful colors. It can be difficult to call a Bowie beautiful, but this one is!
Knife comes with a frontier style leather sheath.
Normally I would charge less for this knife, but the cost of leather has forced me to raise prices. The leather in the sheath is nearly $20 itself. I build these as a hobby and covering my cost is the basic price measure. Anyway, thanks for looking
