Penny is an almost 3yr old female spayed French Bulldog that is in need of a new home. She is a high energy girl that can have a lot to say at times, but is always down for pets and scratches. She currently lives in a household with another Frenchie and a guinea pig, in whom she shows great interest in but has to be under direct supervision when interacting. She does okay with younger kids, tends to jump if they have something she is interested in (can be worked on with training), better with older kids. She has not had any intersections with cats, so unsure how she would do with them.

• Medical history: Her primary care veterinarian is with Banfield and she is current on vaccines. She does have food and seasonal allergies. Managed with a Dermatologist at Dermatology for Animals in Salt Lake City. Currently on a prescription diet with added supplements, as well as wipes to keep toes and face rolls clean and dry. Has been seen for IVDD with a Neurologist at MedVet Salt Lake City and has been managed with cage rest so far. She is a super chewer and has swallowed toys in the past, but has not needed surgery. Has had a BOAS surgery.
• Training: She was put through a training course with Sit Means Sit West Jordan and has a shock/training collar. She can attend additional training sessions twice a week, as well as at home training if needed for extra help or guidance.
• Bonuses: She tolerates clothes and costumes very well. Has a “large closet” of sweaters and jackets. Kennel, food, clothes, booties, shock collar, harnesses, etc. will be provided. Love love loves to play with tennis balls.
• Things to consider: She has quite a few medical and behavioral needs. Despite the training, she still urinates in her kennel, unsure if it is due to separation anxiety. Could benefit from a stay at home family.
