“Sheza Peppered Sante”, known as Josie is a 2014 AQHA registered mare with experience in goat tying, breakaway, and just about everything in between. I’ve loped her through barrels, poles, and she has always been willing to try anything asked of her.
Josie is not a spooky horse, she may give something the occasional side eye, but has never acted on it. She has proven herself to be trustworthy with kids, carrying a 5-year-old through peewee rodeos in barrels, poles, flags, and goat tying. She was also confidently ridden and run by a 6-year-old girl while trying her out.
She can be a little herd sour and will paw when left alone. She stands great for the farrier, good with shots and is up to date on dental work and routine care.
Josie is the kind of mare that is happy to do whatever you ask of her and would make an excellent fit for someone looking for a versatile, kind, dependable partner. She is the first one to meet you at the gate looking for scratches. That being said, she deserves a family that is going to appreciate and take care of her. Please message or call for additional information.
