This is a Wenonah Sundowner - a fast, efficient touring canoe built for covering serious distance. This isn’t a big-box rec boat… this is the kind of canoe people take deep into the backcountry.
I’ve personally used this canoe on multi-day fishing and camping trips across Yellowstone Lake, fully loaded with gear. It tracks straight, paddles fast, and handles distance incredibly well. It’s not a barge - it’s built to move. Built like a tank but still light weight.
• Wenonah's Tuf‑weave interwoven fabric made of 50% polyester and 50% fiberglass that outperforms either material alone, giving improved impact resistance and a good compromise between weight, performance, and price (durable and solid) • Two seats – front seat adjusts forward/back • Excellent for touring, lake travel, and expedition-style trips • Stable when loaded, fast when paddling light • Lightweight enough for two people to handle easily (I handle it fine alone) • 18' fits a lot of gear
