6 passenger 2017 Pioneer 1000–5. This perfect size side-by-side has been made with the third row Suburban seat mounted in the back. Making this a six passenger side-by-side that is roughly 10 feet long. If you’ve been shopping for six passenger side-by-side, you know that most of them are about the size of a pick up truck. This one is small and nimble and will fit inside a small toy hauler. Another advantage of this backseat is that it is much more comfortable and easier for the kids in the back to see out. With the stock seat, the kids sat so low that it was difficult for them to see. Adults can ride in the back seat in fact some times I prefer to ride there when I am not driving.

This is the delux model with the self leveling suspension in the back upgraded rims and radial tires. It has never had any issues.

Because the seat in the back, there is limited storage space so I put on the bed extender. We’ve had plenty of room for all the stuff that we need for a full day of riding as a family.

The suburban seat does not fold down or come out easily. I was able to install the seat without making any modifications to the side-by-side bed. But the seat mounting had to modified and it cannot be put back into a suburban.

I have all the original parts that were taken off the bed and they should bolt right back in.

This thing will run circles around your friends in their RZRs. Literally because the turning radius is so tight and it’s so nimble with a short wheelbase that you can climb with grace and finesse without the worry of high centering. And when they break down you will have room to take them back.

This machine may be a little light on the accessories compared to some out there. The only thing I added was extra heat shielding around the engine compartment and a DEI engine compartment fan. When I bought this, I thought that I would add accessories as needed, but after all these years, the only thing I needed was the bed extender and street legal kit.

I purchased this new because it is a Honda and I knew with a little care it will run forever and I like the dual clutch transmission where I can keep it in a higher gear and keep the RPMs and the noise down for a quieter trail riding.

Because of a mixup at the parts counter ended up with a soft top instead of a hard top. It worked out because I’m able to take this off top off during a ride or fold it back after the sunset and it is very nice to ride when it is cool at night without the roof. The roof is a little worse for the wear but still works great. Same with the windshield it can be taken off during a ride and attached to the back of the roll cage when you need more air to circulate.

This machine has been well taken care of. It has been used, but definitely not abused. It’s always been stored inside and towed in an enclosed trailer. I’m not in a hurry to sell it. Most my kids can drive themselves now so we don’t use this very often anymore as a family.
