This is the hardest post I've ever had to write.

Due to an unexpected housing situation, I have to find a safe place for my best friend by tomorrow. If I can't, I'll have no choice but to surrender him to a shelter, and I desperately want to avoid that if there's any way possible.

I'm praying that the right person sees this.

He'll be 9 years old next week and is an Australian Shepherd/Lab/Husky mix. He's neutered, healthy, house-trained, and has spent his entire life as a beloved family member.

About him:

• Wonderful with children (he has grown up with my two boys)
• Has been around cats and does well with proper introductions
• Enjoys other respectful dogs but prefers they aren't constantly in his space
• Calm, affectionate, loyal, and happiest simply being with his people
• Loves walks, the lake, rivers, sniffing around the yard, and rolling in the grass

This is not because of anything he's done wrong. If my circumstances were different, he would still be with me. Letting him go is breaking my heart.

I'm looking for either:

A loving forever home

OR

An emergency foster beginning tomorrow while I continue working with rescues.

I'm willing to drive anywhere in Utah for the right person.
