The Ultimate Family Expedition Rig & Workhorse

Most overland trucks cater only to couples. This custom rig was engineered from the ground up to safely seat a family of 7, sleep 5, and carry 2 weeks of off-grid supplies and heavy adventure gear deep into the backcountry.

Proven Global Explorer: Our family lived in this rig full-time for nearly a year, covering 50,000 miles across Western North America. We traversed thousands of miles of rugged dirt roads, camped on the Arctic Ocean in Tuktoyaktuk via the Dempster Highway, explored South Padre Island, and visited 20 US National Parks.

A True Family Legacy Build: While the chassis and flatbed fabrication were completed by industry pros, the composite camper habitat was designed and personally hand-built by me and my children. We poured our hearts into creating a rugged, highly functional off-grid home. Now that our journey is complete, we want another family to have the exact same chance at a life-changing adventure.

TRANSPARENT CHARACTER NOTES

This is a bulletproof, utilitarian tool, not a luxury land-yacht:

• Ride Quality: Cab-over design means you sit over the front axle; rides like a commercial truck, not a plush city pickup. Cruises happily at 65 mph (governor limits cruise control above 70 mph).
• Cab A/C: Focused on the front bench; added auxiliary fans to keep the rear row cool on hot days.
• Tech: Alpine touchscreen head unit w/ CarPlay, but factory speakers are basic and there is no backup camera.
• Fuel Filler: Poor factory slope angle slows down fueling slightly (can be resolved by relocating the fill port).
