ZelleFor sale is a matching pair of original vintage JBL 4311 Control Monitors from the 1970s.
I am the original owner, both speakers are complete with the original cabinets, original JBL drivers, and original level controls. The walnut cabinets are in good overall condition for their age and have never been modified.
The woofers have damage to the paper cones from cat claws, and the tweeters also need attention. The LE5 midrange drivers are in good condition. I received professional estimates from a local JBL certified repair specialist ranging between $500-$700 to restore the damaged drivers, but I've decided to let the next owner choose how they would like to proceed.
These are excellent candidates for a proper restoration and are becoming increasingly difficult to find as complete, original pairs. Vintage JBL enthusiasts know the value of keeping the original drivers rather than replacing them with aftermarket components.
Included:
Sold as-is due to the damaged drivers. You're welcome to inspect them before purchasing.
