1985 Honda XL250R This is a dual sport bike and therefore can be licensed for street use. It's basically the same bike as an XR250R, but has signals, horn and a brake light. Everything works except high beam on the headlight due to a bad filament. It can be a bit moody to get started, but runs great and rides excellent once started. It is kick start only. All gears work and it shifts smoothly. This bike is one of the dual carbs on a single cylinder models. Both carbs have been rebuilt. It doesn't smoke for the few minutes after being started, but does after that. May just need the valve seals replaced, but with 15,636 miles showing on the odometer, it more than likely needs a new piston/rings. Realistically, for a 41 year old bike, it's actually in pretty good shape. The tires even have a decent amount of tread left on them and the tool box actually has a tool kit in it. $800 OBO I have a clean/clear Utah title in my name.
