Slip into the saddle of the 2027 Aprilia RS 660 Base and you’re instantly in sportbike territory—just with a sharp, modern edge that feels as happy carving apexes as it does turning every quick errand into a “long way home” excuse. Finished in Blue Marlin, this RS 660 looks like it’s already in motion, even on the sidestand—clean, aggressive, and unmistakably track-inspired.
At the heart of it all is a 659cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin with DOHC and 8 valves, built to sing when you ask for it. Twist the grip and it rewards you with a punchy, eager personality: 105 bhp at 10,400 rpm and 51.6 ft-lbs of torque at 8,400 rpm. It’s a rev-happy, 4-stroke setup with ram air induction and fuel injection, tuned to meet Euro 5 emissions while still delivering the kind of grin-per-mile energy sport riders chase.
The connection between you and that power is classic and satisfying: a 6-speed manual with gear primary drive and a chain to the rear wheel. The chassis keeps things serious, too—an aluminum frame and aluminum wheels paired with a composed stance (54.4-inch wheelbase, 24.3° rake, 4.1-inch trail) that’s built for confident, precise direction changes.
Up front, a 41mm inverted fork with preload and rebound adjustment (Kabaya) gives you the tools to dial in feel, while the rear twin-sided swing arm and adjustable Kabaya shock keep the bike planted when the pace picks up. Grip comes courtesy of Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa IV tires—120/70 R17 front and 180/55 R17 rear—mounted tubeless on 17-inch rims for a properly sporty footprint.
And when it’s time to scrub speed, the RS 660 doesn’t flinch: Brembo Monobloc front brakes with dual 320mm hydraulic discs and 4-piston calipers, backed by a 220mm rear hydraulic disc.
With a two-piece seat for two, a 32.3-inch seat height, a 4-gallon tank (with 1.1-gallon reserve), and an efficient 48 mpg highway estimate, this Blue Marlin RS 660 is ready to be your daily dose of adrenaline—no track day required.
