Looking to rehome a gorgeous juvenile Production Blue cockerel (approx. 6 weeks old). He was a surprise hatch mix-up, and my local zoning ordinances do not permit me to keep roosters. He is a very brave, confident, and tough little guy who is always the absolute first to investigate anything new or protect his flock mates. He has not started crowing yet, making it the perfect time to integrate him into a new home. He is beautifully marked with slate-blue plumage and rich copper leakage along his neck. Must go to a flock where he can be a protector. The only thing the buyer needs to know is that he should not be immediately mixed with fully grown, heavy adult chickens without a slow introduction. Because he is still small, adult hens might bully him. A simple "look but don't touch" divider in the coop for a week will keep him perfectly safe.
He needs to go to a home where he will be safe and loved.
