VenmoMy two sons ages 15 and 13, drew out for a Chalk Creek General season cow elk tag that runs from November to January. We are looking for a land owner with elk on their property that would be willing to help me get my boys an opportunity at a big game animal. I understand that hunters have ruined opportunities to get on private land because of the way they have treated your land your fences and in many instances left garbage and trash behind. Are you sure you my boys and myself would not do so we can promise the following information and I will assure you we will be respectful and follow all your rules and policies.
- Ultimate Respect for Your Land: We will not leave any trash. We will respect all gates, livestock, fences, and property boundaries.
- Safety First: We strictly follow all Utah hunting regulations and firearm safety practices.
- A fee: I am willing to pay a fee for my boys to harvest animal. I do not have thousands of dollars per day to I am a high school teacher teacher with some youth hunters, eager to find some success and have fun. I was thinking I could pay upwards to $500 to harvest an animal or two. I once again will not be hunting. It is only for my the two youth hunters that drew the tag. We are also willing to work on your ranch or farm providing help in earning an opportunity to hunt on your land.
- Low Impact: we will hike in if needed. We do not need to drive all over your land. We are not looking to camp on your place either. If you would like us to we could come up for the day and hike around and leave when done hunting we are not asking.
If you have a moment to read this and are willing to give us an opportunity, we will try our best to make it worth your while. I would be truly grateful as would be my son’s to get the chance to harvest an animal on your property. Please feel free to reach out and let me know.
