This wheelchair was designed as a BYU engineering capstone project as a lightweight, low cost alternative to traditional motorized wheelchairs. It was one of the first ones made. It hasn't ever been used regularly, just test driven and has mostly just been sitting in storage. The Open wheelchair foundation has closed it's doors and we are looking to get this to a child who might be able to use it. The size and weight capacity is suitable for a child 5 years old or under. Please contact me if you are interested in this or know someone who might be. Comes with an extra controller and battery charger. We want this to go to someone who has a need for it.
