Venus’s extra months with us have meant extra training, extra socialization, and extra time to reveal who she really is. Recently, an independent service dog trainer evaluated her temperament and identified real potential for service work. She’s still young and this isn’t a guarantee, but it’s a meaningful sign of the dog she’s becoming.

Venus is a sweet, affectionate Mini Golden Retriever with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. Her gentle temperament and cheerful personality make her a joy to be around, bringing warmth and happiness everywhere she goes. She loves spending time with people and has a wonderful balance of playfulness and calm affection.

As part of our Puppy in Training program, Venus has already been building important life skills to help make the transition into her new home as smooth as possible. She is crate trained, knows basic commands and walks on a leash.

She is being raised with Puppy Culture methods and receives daily socialization, confidence-building experiences, and positive training to help her grow into a well-rounded companion.
