Toby is an approximately 4-year-old sweetheart looking for a family to call his own.

Toby is a gentle, affectionate little guy who has settled into foster care beautifully. He's been the perfect house guest with no potty accidents while on a regular schedule, sleeps quietly through the night, and loves following his people from room to room before curling up nearby.

He's still building his confidence when he's away from his favorite humans, so he'll do best with a patient family that will help him continue to blossom. Once Toby feels safe, all he wants is to be close to the people he loves.

While he's mostly a calm, laid-back companion, he has the funniest little bursts of energy! He's surprisingly fast, can jump like an agility pro, and occasionally unleashes his inner caffeinated squirrel.

He's done great with fireworks in foster care, and we're still learning how he does with other dogs and cats.
