For sale is a clean 1983 Yamaha XT125—a lightweight, reliable Japanese dual-sport well suited for teaching your teen how to ride or commuting to campus or work... with an offroad side-quest on the way home. My brother and I did both on this bike; it's been in the family for decades and now it's time to pass along.

5,600 original miles. Starts easily from cold (even after months in storage), idles well, shifts through every gear, and runs great. (Happy to send unedited video of a cold start!) Hybrid tires with plenty of life. Tops out around 50mph. Mechanics and passers-by are always impressed at how clean and well preserved it is. Will turn heads (but slowly... you won't be riding wheelies on this thing!).

Recently serviced: oil change, new carburetor, new rear sprocket, new fuel filter. Cleaned and detailed too!

Flaws: Tear in seat. Spark arrestor fell out. Missing lid for the little trunk over the rear fender. Fuel valve (petcock) is sticky, hard to operate by hand. Blinkers and horn are functional, but weak.

Clean Utah title in hand, not currently registered. Street legal.
