This is an incredibly difficult decision for our family. We love our sweet dog very much, but we’ve realized she needs a home that’s a better fit for her personality.

Daphne is a beautiful 3-year-old Bernedoodle with a soft cream-and-white wavy coat, caramel-colored ears, chocolate and taupe patches, and a fluffy tail. One eye is brown, the other is blue. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, healthy, and has no medical issues.

She is affectionate, intelligent, and wonderful with kids, cats, and other dogs. She is never aggressive, destructive, or disobedient.

The only challenge is that she has significant anxiety. We have a large, active household with people constantly coming and going, and the activity completely overwhelms her. She becomes reactive at the door and barks because she’s anxious. Although this is truly her only problem, our home is simply too busy for an anxious dog, and the constant cycle of barking and stress has become too overwhelming for everyone, especially her.

We believe she would thrive in a quiet home with one or two people, a predictable routine, and someone who can give her the calm, love, and attention she deserves. She gets along well with other dogs, though another reactive, nervous dog will probably increase her anxiety.

We’re not looking for just any home. We are looking for the right one. We know she has the potential to be an incredible companion in a peaceful environment.
