Candy apple red MIM Fender Jazz bass with upgrades and repairs. Pickups are Fender “noiseless” and they truly are clean. All 3 pots replaced with Fender CTS 250s. Yes, 250s, not 500s. This is a single coil, passive instrument so the 250 pots add warmth and depth without sacrificing clarity. They go well with the noiseless pickups. Brass hi-mass Hipshot bridge. New D’Addario round wound strings. New(ish) pick-guard with protective plastic intact. There is a repair to the finish that is visible in the pictures but not on stage. Also two small holes in the headstock, probably from someone trying to stop the A string buzz that plagues Fender headstocks. Under a microscope, there are plenty of flaws, but nobody is reaching for a microscope with their eyes grooving on that candy apple red body.
