I’m moving to the UK in a few months and have to start to process of removing my purebred husky named Wave.
He’s 2 years old and is probably the best husky ever. He does very well off leash and listens (although he does like to say hi to other dogs). You can open your front door and walk outside with him off leash, he’s never bolted or disappeared. Not aggressive at all towards dogs or humans. He is also potty trained and hasn’t had an accident in a very long time.
He is a northern breed so they can be stubborn sometimes like any husky/malamute can be. For that reason I really want to find someone who understands dogs and how to motivate them in a positive way. He does not respond well to hitting/yelling/pulling at all and I do not want to place him in an environment where that will happen.
He is not fixed and I don’t think he needs to be. Typically I would have a dog fixed if their behavior necessitates it and he’s such a good dog that I don’t think he needs it. No AKC paperwork available.
