I'm hosting a free introductory ground school class — the first in a series that will cover everything you need to pass the FAA Private Pilot written exam. Topics will build week over week, so this is a good time to start from the beginning.
About me: I hold an Advanced Ground Instructor certificate, which means any ground instruction I provide can be officially logged toward your Private Pilot certificate requirements.
I've been flying out of Utah Valley for six years with my PPL, IRA, CPL and AGI. By day I work in software, and I've mentored developers who've gone on to work at places like Amazon. I enjoy teaching people new things, and it doesn’t get much better than aviation!
What will you get out of this class? Flying is one of those things a lot of people say they've always wanted to do. This class is a low-commitment way to find out what it takes and get the head start you need to be successful.
What am I getting out of this class? This will be excellent experience as I finalize my certified flight instructor certificate. After that, we can go flying too.
Details: - First Class: Monday July 20 6PM, American Fork Library - Free, no obligation - First in a series covering all ground knowledge for the PPL written exam - Logged ground instruction available for those working toward a certificate
There are only 18 seats. DM me to reserve a spot. 8 oh 1 six one six 7053
