VenmoA taste of leather was legendary. San Francisco gay leather and fetish shop. Originally opened in 1967 in the SOMA district it was one of the first in-bar leather shops in the nation before moving to 1285 Folsam Street and closing in early 2010s so this particular vest was purchased between 1967 and 1971. Now the pins on the vest started in this time period most are affiliated with the Lions Club which supports the LGBTQ+ community in San Fran 1960s and 1970s when the support system was a lot harsher on such individuals coming out. This vest and pins has a historical significance to it and has a story to tell that started 50 some years ago this vest needs to be where it can be appreciated and loved.
