I’m Spencer. I recently moved up to the Riverton and South Jordan area after teaching between 4 to 20 students down in the Provo and Orem area while in school. Now that I'm settled here, I am actively accepting new students.

Golf can often feel intimidating, stuffy, or incredibly expensive, especially when you're just trying to learn the basics or break through a frustrating plateau. My goal is to offer an affordable, low-pressure way for teenagers and young adults (ages 12 to 30) to learn the game, refine their swing, and actually enjoy being out on the course.

My Approach I’m an active player with a 5 to 7 handicap. I played in high school and was a substitute teacher for the most advanced golf class at BYU.

I don’t believe in forcing everyone into a "perfect" textbook swing. Instead, we’ll work with your natural athletic movements to build a swing that is consistent, repeatable, and fun to play with. Not everyone is trying to go pro, but I can help you (or your child) reach the point where golf is a LOT more fun!

To help you actually see what your swing is doing, we will also use some video analysis during our sessions. We can slow things down on camera so you can easily visualize the changes we are making in real time.

This is perfect for: Beginners (Ages 12 to 30): If you've never touched a club, or you only play once a year at Topgolf and want to learn how to play a real round with friends or family.

Intermediates: If you're a high schooler trying to make the team, or a young professional trying to hold your own at a company scramble, and you want to stop slicing your driver or improve your short game.

The Details & Availability I want to keep the pricing simple and transparent so there are no surprises at the counter.

Cost: $50 per hour. (This flat rate fully covers your instruction, video analysis, plus your range balls or green fees for the lesson).

Location: Mulligans in South Jordan or Riverbend Golf Course. These are great, relaxing environments with an excellent driving range, putting greens, and a casual executive course/par-3 course (mulligans) for on-course lessons.

Hours: I schedule lessons after 5:00 PM on weekdays or anytime on Saturdays.
